As a member of the PICTURE project team, I use RGBD cameras for 3D reconstruction and modelling of the breast with the aim to improve aesthetic evaluation methods in breast cancer surgical treatment. Prior to joining CMIC, I worked as a software engineer for an international leading medical product manufacturer where I developed and maintained CT algorithms for cardiac functional analysis and calcium scoring in a multi-modality imaging platform. I hold a MSc and BSc in Computer Science with a specialization in Medical Informatics from the Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences in Germany. In my MSc project, I demonstrated a novel approach to intravascular perfusion quantification and visualization.
